A client who does apparel for Spirit Halloween Stores needed this design to promote Spirit's new locations in Alaska.  Spirit wanted to change their Grim  Reaper's hooded robe to a parka for this t-shirt design.  Changing the bats to snowflakes was my idea.

This is their current logo design for comparison.

My first design had the parka in green, since most parkas used to be that grey-green color.  I was thinking of the era of John Carpenter's The Thing.  Spirit got the reference but felt like it was too great a departure from their logo, so we went back to black.
